Repairs for Props / Sets records can be tracked in the "Needs Repair" section of the Props/Sets record. The tab with the Repair History will show all recorded repairs. If the Needs Repair box is checked the words "Needs Repair" will show in red at the top of the screen.
By clicking in the "Needs Repair" box the record is marked for needing repair. You can click on the Zoom button to enter more information about the repair it needs and who repaired it.
You can print a 3" x 5" card in your printer from this dialog box. The idea is that an item which needs repair can have the Repair card printed and attached to the item when it goes out for repair. The card will have all the repair information and the Props / Sets Tag ID and Name. Once the repair is complete the notes of the repair can be written on the card. When the item comes back to storage the notes can be entered into the Props/Set record. The barcode for the Tag ID is also printed so it is easy to scan when you want to find the record to update.
On the Props/Sets Reports menu there is an option to print a list of all Props/Sets items that need repair and the option to print all Props/Sets that need repair that are assigned to a Production.
